Meeting the family

The following photos are of Logan meeting all his family for the first time.  Big brother got to do most of the introductions!

 

Welcome, Logan!

Our precious baby boy, Logan John, has arrived!  He weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces and was 21 inches long.  He has dark hair and beautiful dark eyes.  We are quite taken with him!  Daniel is proving to be a wonderful big brother and an awesome helper for his mama.  We feel so blessed!  Here are some photos taken at the hospital.

T-ball

Daniel participated in his second year of instructional t-ball.  He seemed to enjoy it again, and especially liked that his daddy helped to coach.  It is a hoot to watch those 3-5 year old kids out on the field.  Here are some photos from the season!

Weekend Away

We decided to take one last weekend trip before the baby arrives.  It just so happened that the nearby Exploration Place was having a special exhibit:  Star Wars!  Daniel absolutely loved it!  We spent the night in a hotel (with a swimming pool, of course) and got to see Brian's dad, Sara, and Kevin.  We explored the Riverfest that was going on as well, and the guys even did the zip line across the river (see photo of Brian below). It was a great weekend! 

Baby Shower

My mom hosted the cutest shower for our baby boy this Saturday.  It was so much fun!  The food was delicious:  2 different egg casseroles, quiche, pecan rolls, sticky bread, blueberry muffins, bacon, sausage, and fruit.   Yum-O!  We received so many adorable baby outfits and baby gear from our family.  Daniel also got quite a few gifts, including some fun decorative things for his new space-themed room!

Getting bigger

Our baby boy continues to grow and so do I! The due date is approaching quickly, and we are excitedly preparing our hearts and homes for his arrival. There is much joy ahead!

For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my petition which I asked of Him.
